The session was led by <strong data-start=\"290\" data-end=\"310\">Prof. S. Shivany<\/strong>, Director of CGEE, who delivered an insightful presentation on <strong data-start=\"374\" data-end=\"433\">\u201cGender Equity and Equality in the Agriculture Sector.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"435\" data-end=\"864\">This interactive session focused on raising awareness about critical issues such as <strong data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"562\">Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV)<\/strong>, its root causes, and the formal complaint mechanisms available for victims. Prof. Shivany also familiarized students with the <strong data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"713\">UGC\u2019s online portal<\/strong> for reporting and guidance, while emphasizing the significance of embracing diversity and promoting inclusive practices within the agricultural field.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"866\" data-end=\"1059\">The event highlighted the role of the CGEE in advocacy and outreach, encouraging students to become active contributors to a more equitable and respectful academic and professional environment.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
